TAJIKISTAN - JAPAN
On December 28, 1991 Japan has recognized Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Diplomatic relations between these two countries were established on January 26, 1992
On January 2002 Embassy of Japan opened in Dushanbe
On November 2007 Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan Japan opened in Tokyo
On October 7, 1999 Ms. Kyko Nakayama was appointed as a first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan with residence in Tashkent.
On October 17, 2007 Mr. Saidov Davlatali Shomahmadovich was appointed as a first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan
On August 2006 JICA opened its office in Tajikistan.
